Affiliate Network

Today I’m here to talk about affiliate networks. First let me state that affiliate marketing is taking new heights because businesses are changing from traditional marketing to online marketing.

So first lets answer the most obvious question for total affiliate marketing newbies: What is an affiliate Network?

Definition: An affiliate network acts as an intermediary between publishers (affiliates) and merchant affiliate programs. It allows website publishers to more easily find and participate in affiliate programs which are suitable for their website.

I run into eager online marketers frequently who assume that affiliate marketing is a walk in the park. They think that you just sign up for an affiliate network get a few links throw them up on blogger and bam you make money.

This isnt true at all, maybe an affiliate marketing newbie gets lucky every once in a while and hits a keyword in a niche that explodes. Therefore making MAYBE a grand then goes out and makes money off explaining how he made “a fortune online.”

So now you know what an affiliate network is-advertising an affiliate link on a website or blog. You dont necessarily need a domain but it is highly recommended.

Now I will explain what I believe is the three different kinds of affiliates: Newbie affiliates, super affiliates, and scammer affiliates. Everyone has a different name for scammer affiliates but they are basically people who make money off selling to newbie affiliates. Dont fall for this nonsense.

Hopefully this knowledge has helped you into the world of online marketing.

Join an affiliate network and start advertising.

Underground Elephant is a new affiliate network with opportunities you can trust.

About Business-to-business

The concept of business-to-business is quite ubiquitous in todays business world. It pertains to the commercial transactions between businesses. The transactions between a manufacturer and a wholesaler or between a wholesaler and a retailer are instances of business-to-business (B2B) commerce. A typical supply chain is characterized by a large number of B2B transactions in comparison to any other type of commercial transaction in the same supply chain. Going by the example of an automobile manufacturer that makes multiple B2B transactions, it procures tires, glass for windshields and other bits and pieces for its vehicles. B2B has been evolving and currently is being used in a new context as well. Many businesses are now using it for communication and collaboration and are referred to as B2B communication.

Originally, the term business-to-business was used to describe the communications between enterprises so as to differentiate it from the communications between enterprises or businesses and consumers. In the current scenario, B2B is also used in marketing to describe products and services put into use by enterprises. B2B marketing strategies have assumed great significance because they are instrumental in its overall success. B2B branding, pricing, promotion, campaigning are some of the aspects of marketing strategies. Experts are of the view that B2B shares the largest part of all marketing while its market value far exceeds that of the consumer market.

According to the expert analysts, there are three factors which are driving the phenomenal growth of B2B marketing. The first is the revolution of technology which is constantly evolving thereby spawning newer products and services. Next is the entrepreneurial revolution. The companies are engaged in a cut-throat competition where the business adage is change or perish. Unexplored markets are being tapped aggressively while new uses of existing products are being found by way of innovation to maintain their competitive edge. The third revolution is taking place within B2B marketing itself. Traditional theories and assumptions are being challenged while conventional work processes are being replaced by new models and concepts. Building relationships with consumers a well as different forms of partnerships are the new defining mantra of marketing.

Modern Marketing – Viral Marketing?

What Is Viral Marketing?

It’s hard not to notice that modern telecommunications have seriously changed virtually every aspect of our life. Just ten years ago, we’d never heard of Google, a word that has since entered the dictionary. Five years ago, YouTube wasn’t a household name. Just a year ago, nobody had even heard of Twitter. Now they’re all huge parts of our society. After all, you’re reading this article on your computer right now. Not surprisingly, advertising has sought to keep up with changing trends, to be relevant to a society raised on absolute communication.

Viral marketing is a broad term used to describe an advertising concept in which advertisers take advantage of people’s social networks to increase brand awareness and product sales. While that probably sounds vague and arcane, it’s actually quite simple. Viral marketing uses word of mouth to spread its message.

The trick is to somehow inspire people to talk about your marketing gimmick in a way that raises product awareness and increases sales. The name “viral marketing” refers to the way the advertising spreads rapidly and organically, like a virus.

To do this, companies produce all sorts of alternative forms of advertising, from internet games to video clips, software, and even text messages. Marketers identify people or demographics most likely to respond to the advertising and spread it, and then tailor the campaign to these people. The basic premise is that once these people accept the advertising, they will begin to spread it to other people, which will spread to other people, and so on. Viral marketing has gotten so advanced that there are algorithms used to describe the rate with which it spreads, and the maximum solvency the advertising will achieve.

Some of the most famous examples of viral marketing include:

Car Gadgets

We spend a lot of time in our cars; many people consider it just a means of getting from point “A” to point “B”. But there are some great creature comforts and downright entertaining hi tech gadgets on the market today. These gadgets won’t make your car Kit from Knight Rider (well maybe one will), but the article addresses a few items to consider, but obviously there are a lot more.

HD Radio is one of the most impressive and practical gadgets available. It provides a huge technology lead from what we have become accustomed to with AM and FM radio stations into what is now digital radio. The cost is all on the front end with the equipment, there is no monthly subscription fees, no hissing associated with radio and many more stations to choose from.

FLIR Systems developed the PathFindIR to provide thermal imaging that increases nighttime visibility. The device is shown through a camera and it allows the driver to see people, animals or whatever up to 2000 feet which is way further than we currently see in the dark. The cool think is you can continue to see that distance through snow, rain and snow. As you can imagine it’s been tested by the military too. This is a cool gadget, but for the price you will have to do some justification on why you need it.

Electronic Kits

Electronic Kits – Let Your Kid’s Imagination Run Wild!

Birthday and Christmas presents always seem to be the same type of thing; a toy car, a game of Monopoly, a train set or a games console. With it becoming even harder for children to get into overcrowded schools it’s vital that you encourage the imagination of your child as soon into their childhood as possible. Electronic Kits are a new breed of present that will excite and amaze your kid this Christmas or Birthday!

Electronic Kits

An Electronic Kit is a set of blocks that have a printed circuit board inside, with each block being a different colour depending on its function. The idea is to plug together the blocks in different combinations so that the child can create circuits – basically writing their own program and inventing new kits! Whether you want to create an alarm for your bedroom, a space station, lie detectors or even a recorder – you can with an Electronic Kit.

The following colours give you an idea of how the kit will work:

” Yellow – the yellow block triggers the system with the press of a button, a flash from a light or some movement.
” Blue – The blue blocks take the signals from one area to another.
” Orange – These are the ‘thinking’ blocks.

They make sure everything works and runs smoothly.
” Red – They communicate through light and sound, offering you the chance to turn things on and off as well as record speaking messages.
” Green – These are the energy suppliers!

Business to Business Banners

In my previous article I wrote about Unique Search terms and how they can help your advert, in this article I am going to write about another powerful feature that many Business to Business Directories offer:

Banners

When you go on to a Business Directory and start searching for companies, you may come across an animated Banner above the list of companies when you type in a product or service you are looking for. These are called banners; companies with adverts can purchase a banner and a set of unique terms that attach to the banner. It is essentially an animated flash file; the designers will take images and text from your own website and incorporate it into the Banner.

Once you have purchased one you will be asked to pick some terms (the amount depends on what you have agreed with the directory), these terms will belong to you for the duration of your contract and no one else will be able to purchase them.

Say you pick Mezzanine Flooring…Whenever some one goes to the directory and types ‘Mezzanine Flooring’ you banner will flash up at the top of the page above all of the companies that offer that product, this encourages people to click on your listing instead of others.

Whilst it does not have the power of the ‘Search Terms’ to get you world wide coverage, it is still a very effective method of drawing extra traffic into your advert and will increase the potential leads you receive.

Small Business Finance and Small Business Loans

Starting up and running a small business is not something that can be decided on a limb. It takes time to properly draft an effective and practical plan that covers many of the fundamentals such as start-up costs, proposals, and financial exit strategies. However once that is accomplished, the benefits completely outweigh the disadvantages of taking that extra time. The beauty of having a plan is that it can change at any point in time. This is especially important for owners because things change at different points in time particularly where business financing is concerned. One question that comes up very often with small business finance is that of when to start getting a little help from the bank. Here is some general advice on when to consider a loan.

- You Are Increasing

You opened with your product or your service and now you need to buy equipment in order to cope with the demand.

You started off and your customer base has grown to the point where you are looking at expanding your building. When you are taking out a loan to help pave the way for greater opportunities, you are making the right decision. Not just because you’re setting yourself up to make more money, but because you’re most likely going to be able to pay it back. This requires a bit of forecasting, but it is certainly more than possible to put together a reasonable strategy.

- Relocating

You’ve outgrown your old building, the income and customers are still steady but its cheaper to just move to a new building, you want to add an extra store. Whatever the reason for changing buildings, the key is that it is because you are growing. If you need a loan to put a down payment down on the new building or something to that effect, it is a good idea for you to at least begin to consider small business loans.

Networking,yahoo

Today, computer networks are the core of modern communication. All modern aspects of the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) are computer-controlled, and telephony increasingly runs over the Internet Protocol, although not necessarily the public Internet. The scope of communication has increased significantly in the past decade, and this boom in communications would not have been possible without the progressively advancing computer network. Computer networks, and the technologies needed to connect and communicate through and between them, continue to drive computer hardware, software, and peripherals industries. This expansion is mirrored by growth in the numbers and types of users of networks from the researcher to the home user.

Computer networks may be classified according to the network topology upon which the network is based, such as bus network, star network, ring network, mesh network.

Network topology is the coordination by which devices in the network are arranged in their logical relations to one another, independent of physical arrangement. Even if networked computers are physically placed in a linear arrangement and are connected to a hub, the network has a star topology, rather than a bus topology. In this regard the visual and operational characteristics of a network are distinct. Networks may be classified based on the method of data used to convey the data, these include digital and analog networks.

A wide area network (WAN) is a computer network that covers a large geographic area such as a city, country, or spans even intercontinental distances, using a communications channel that combines many types of media such as telephone lines, cables, and air waves. A WAN often uses transmission facilities provided by common carriers, such as telephone companies. WAN technologies generally function at the lower three layers of the OSI reference model: the physical layer, the data link layer, and the network layer.

Mobile Phones – iPhone

The iPhone 4 has been recently criticized for calls dropping out all the time, this is mainly due to the cellular networks not being able to handle the data consumption that these little phones can use up. Everyone is using them for more than a phone but like mini computers. The new screen takes more data because of the higher resolution. In more densely populated areas it is not uncommon to have to wait for the call to connect for up to thirty seconds or even more and thats if you can even get a single. Some say that the antenna used is not good enough, however Apple used the top of the line antennas and it is more likely to be a network problem.

There are some ways to increase the drop out problem, you can position the phone in a different way or go outdoors to use the phone. The easiest way is to change the way you hold the phone so that you don’t have a tight grip on the phone, specifically the lower left hand corner.

You can also use the free rubber bumper that provided in all the new iPhone 4′s.

If you are not getting any service contact your service provider and complain but before you do that ensure that the airplane mode is off as this will cause you to get no service, if this does not work try switching on and off the sleep mode a few times and see if this rectifies the problem.

If none of these tips have fixed the problem you may be outside of the network areas, the no service problem on the new iPhones is quite common and if all else fails contact your service provider and discuss the options available to you. It is likely the problems will persist until the cellular network companies upgrade their systems to handle greater data consumption.
